While I have always taken care to eat healthy, I never realized the power that nutrients really have on your body until I was diagnosed with a joint problem. While the pain wasn't too severe, it was noticeable enough that I knew I had to mention it to my doctor. My doctor asked me what I ate and recommended that I increase my intake of a few specific nutrients, including omega-3 fats, vitamin D, and several others. I started changing what I ate immediately, and while it took a couple of weeks to notice a huge difference in my joint pain, it eventually went away!
